This blog came out of a love relationship that I have with food and cooking. However this relationship with food was not always rooted in health and neither was my lifestyle - and that's the second part of my journey, what led me to reading more about AIP and Paleo lifestyles.
If you are familiar with the AIP then you're probably wondering if I have an autoimmune disease. I technically don't, as I've never officially been diagnosed. I have an incipient depigmentation of the skin (vitiligo) and a lazy thyroid. Basically "getting there" when it comes to an autoimmune condition, but through diet and well-being approaches I am providing my body and spirit with what they need to thrive. And that is what I want to help promote with my blog for anyone who comes across it!
The recipes and articles included in this blog are focused on the AIP diet, however my goal with this blog is to keep providing content that inspires anyone who wants to live their best and healthiest life. No need for labels. To me, the healing journey is different for everyone and what's the most important thing to keep at heart is that we need to listen to our bodies intelligence, the primal force.
